Career Pathways
Career Pathways is a program designed to provide quality education and training offerings with embedded supportive services that enable youth and adults an opportunity to attend Central Alabama Technical classes and the Adult Education program while they work to improve their academic skill level or work to earn a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent. The core of Career Pathways is “Integrated Education and Training (IET)”, which includes adult basic education, contextualized workforce preparation, and occupational skill instruction. Courses offered as a Career Pathways include Welding, Clinical Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, and Truck Driver Training programs.
